Over the past few hours, heavy winter rains have fallen in the western Yemeni city of Hodeidah.

Local sources reported that heavy rains caused torrents in the city’s streets, causing partial obstruction of traffic on most streets.

Citizens confirmed that the flow of torrents prevented access to some houses in popular neighborhoods, such as Al-Rabsa, Al-Damagha and others.

Local sources said the failure to clean flood drain openings contributed to the accumulation of water in the streets.
